The mythical appellation for a wine holding within it well-hidden secrets passed from generation to generation, for 170 years.
It originates from the renowned Asyrtiko, Athiri, Aidani varieties leisurely dried on Santorini terraces and cooled in the halo of the Aegean. Their precious juice is fermented in subterranean galleries, with only the mute play of underground shadows as company. And after long ageing in oak barrels, it transforms into a most unique flavour, with an exceptional fragrance and its cherished colour.
The taste is enchanting, with the nose of grapes and dried fig, delightful aromatic fragrance, beautiful deep colour of honey with flashes of gold, embracing each other to grace us on this wonderful journey to the legends of the volcano.
